Live Here Now at Westonbirt
Quo's show at Westonbirt on Sunday June 22nd was recorded by a company called Live Here Now. A 2xCD souvenir live album was available for purchase at the gig within minutes of the show finishing. The recording & mix is excellent quality; mixed from individual splits taken from the band & mixed in a dedicated truck by a team of audio experts. The CDs are packaged in standard CD boxes complete with full colour artwork. The double CD set costs £15.00 plus postage and packing for mail orders and will also be available for download a day or so after the gig priced at £10. Rick Parfitt Jnr and band at Forest gigs
Rick Parfitt Jnr & the RPJ Rock Band supported Quo at the Cannock Forest and Dalby Forest gigs on 27th & 28th June 2008. Last year Rick Jnr performed at events and shows all over the country including being asked to play for both HRH Prince William and HRH Prince Andrew at their respective events. Rick Jnr also had a top 10 hit with a single he penned for "King of the Jungle" Matt Willis and released his own single, his rocked up re-working of the Tears for Fears classic "Sowing the Seeds of Love", which was also the theme music for ITV 1's series 'Holly and Fearn Go Dating'. Twentysevens Dates and Album
Aussie rock act twentysevens supported Quo on their 2006 UK tour. They are now back with their own headline UK dates and a new album "Sex, Politics & Religion". The album contains includes 13 new originals, plus - after being inspired watching Quo 31 times on the 06 tour! - a very different version of "Pictures of Matchstick Men". The album has been described as "full of hard-edged blues & groove flavours", and will be available at the live shows and also at their site from 16 June. |
Woodedz to open The Bulldog Bash
Rhino's band 'Woodedz' with his sons Max on drums and Freddie on guitar will open the Bulldog Bash on Thursday, August 7. They will be on stage at 6pm for a hard rockin' 45 minute set. Set in the heart of England, at the Shakespeare County Raceway, near Stratford on Avon in Warwickshire, the Bulldog Bash is universaly acclaimed as the best biker event in Europe. Quo headlined the August 2007 Bulldog Bash. |

Tommy and Lily Parfitt are born!
Twins Tommy Oswald and Lily Rose were born to Rick and Lyndsay, on 26th May 2008, in Spain. These two young Parfitts will be a half brother and half sister for Richard and Harry! Congratulations Rick and Lyndsay!!! |

Quo at the British International Motor Show
Quo will appear at the British International Motor Show in it's Music Festival which takes place in a specially created riverside concert venue, as part of the Motor Show at Excel in London on Friday July 25th. Music Festival tickets will be sold separately but include free access to The British International Motor Show on the day of the concert. The festival runs from 23 July to 3 August. Other artists due to appear include UB40, Squeeze, Here and Now 80s Tour (featuring Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Young, Toyah, Kid Creole, Midge Ure and Nick Heyward) Deep Purple and Jools Holland featuring Marc Almond, with more acts to be announced soon. |

Concert for Diana DVD
A DVD of July's 'Concert for Diana' at Wembley Stadium was released on November 5th, 2007. The 2 x DVD set features Quo's performance of Rocking All Over The World along with performances by 21 other artists including Elton John, Rod Stewart, Joe Perry and Kanye West. Status Quo - CARE FACTOR ZERO - The Movie
Filming in Thailand for Quo's debut feature film 'Care Factor Zero' has now been put back until February 2009. Although the majority of the financing for the film is now in place, it has been decided to delay filming (originally scheduled for February 2008) due to demands on the band to promote the 'In Search of the Fourth Chord' album outside of Europe during this period. Just Doin' It (Live) - DVD
Quo's explosive concert DVD 'Just Doin' It Live' is released by Warner Vision. Filmed at their sell out 2006 concert at Birmingham NEC, the DVD is the band's first 'live in concert' release for an incredible fifteen years.
