Geneva and Schupfart...a Swiss tourette.

Air Hair Lair! (say that quick and you'll know what I mean, OK ya!)

We're gigging in Geneva, could be anywhere as we're staying right by the gig, which is right by the airport, and right by the Motorway. We're travelling to Basle tomorrow, alright today, I'm lying and pretending to write this after the gig, in fact it's lunchtime on Friday, and I took a donkey (tamazipan) last night, so I'm just scrawling, as I'm still in a coma...good though, 'cos my wife's got the flu, so it's been all systems go for me at home with the kids, yes folks, even rock stars make packed lunches, wash and iron and deliver and collect the kids from school.

Before I bore you with the gig details, I'd just like to thank all of you who emailed me, and whilst I have to admit I haven't replied to hardly any, please keep them coming, they're allways good to read, slag me off if you like, it's up to you, but DON'T STOP!

Joke of the day, (from Francis)
  • Englishman, Scotsman and a Welshman were sitting discussing their kids.
  • "Oh yes, my son's name is David" said the Welshman "He was born on St David's Day, and as he is the patron saint of Wales I had no option but to call him David.
  • "That's a coincidence" said the Scotsman "my son Andrew was born in exactly the same circumstances, born on St Andrews day, so I had no option but to call him Andrew.
  • "That's amazing" said the Englishman, "my son Pancake....."

"Not a bad life really" Francis was heard to utter at Basle airport as he ate red peppers with garlic, olive oil, garlic and a touch of garlic for luck. It's Saturday morning, and we're going home after our fantastic/sad/average/pretty good (delete as appropriate, if you were there) Swiss tourette, which was:

Geneva Arena : Thurs.
Great support band, all I know is that they were German, but bloody good, I can assure you. We really enjoyed the gig, slightly reserved audience at the beggining, but Rossi slid the ball home with a 10th minute goal, and after that there was only one team in it, played cards 'till 3:00 and then caught a lot of Zzzzzzz's.

Basle (Schupfart Festival): Friday
Phew, what a scorcher! We cooked on this gig, 7000 Swiss going apeshit, but it was hot, I love it, but then again I'm not singing like the GOMORR and the WOMORR (who was suffering, sometimes you have to remember it was only eighteen weeks ago he had a quadruple by-pass), so I just drip sweat and drink all the way through. By the way, Jeff's had all his hair shaved off...he's now known as Bullet Head.
Great reaction, the Swiss have this thing, it's like playing air piano above your head and going "OOOM", when they want an encore. I guess you really don't understand what I mean but OK, you had to be there...but it's good.

It's now 1.00pm. I'm going home and I'm totally shitfaced, see you in November, maybe b4 and I'll tell you about my SOLO ALBUM (yawn).

Love,
